All change on Leeda Sales

Leeda is pleased to announce that its sales team has been re-shaped for 2024, with two new additions to its on-the-road sales presence....

Marc Osborn and Aaron Cook have joined Leeda to cover the Southern and Northern UK mainland respectively, and bring a wealth of experience to their new roles of Account Manager.

They are joined by existing sales agent Chris Simpson, who continues to look after the ROI and Northern Irish markets.

"Born & bred in York, my late father introduced me into fishing at a very early age, which soon progressed to representing York in a number of Junior Nationals.
"I’ve worked for two major Blue Chip companies but re-engaged with the angling and discovered commercial match fishing. Fitting this around the creation of a manufacturing company and leisure facility came with challenges but somehow allowed me to fish club and open matches in and around North Yorkshire.
"For the past four years I have worked in the tackle trade, which has given me a huge insight into how the industry runs, which I feel has been invaluable to my development and knowledge of this fantastic sport and my customer base within Leeda."

"Growing up in Southampton, like many anglers I started out going fishing every weekend with my dad. Starting on small local club lakes and moving on to the Hampshire Avon, once I could drive, I moved into carp fishing and enjoyed learning how to target big carp. I’ve also crossed over into match fishing, which worked well with limited time. Now with a young family I live in Somerset and find myself regularly choosing between carp and match fishing depending on time, enjoying both the chase and competitive side.
"I have been in sales now for more than two decades, with 15 years in account management, developing skills that have helped me to grow customer businesses and not just make fast sales. I like to do things a little different and over time you will see that I will always put the customer first."

"Originally from Manchester, I started my journey into angling at a young age on the local canals and club waters of the Northwest before progressing into the competitive match scene on a wide variety of venues.
"I was then fortunate enough to take the chance and begin working in the angling trade. I bought a small local angling shop at the age of just 24, where I spent six fantastic years learning and growing the business in all areas before deciding to make the change and hit the road in sales for Leeda to service the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland sector.
"Fishing is still a huge hobby and I get on the bank whenever the opportunity arises, whether it's on the wild Irish loughs in one of the many match fishing festivals, or using a Summer evenings to scramble over rocks to go lure fishing for pollock, wrasse and bass on the beautiful Irish coast line.
It’s this long relationship with Angling, working in all disciplines from both sides of the counter and the deep passion for the sport that puts me in a great position to help you with your business."
